The Bartholomew County Democratic Party is one of the two major contemporary political parties in the United States. Â It is the oldest political party in continuous operation in the United States and it is one of the oldest parties in the world. Â Today, the party supports a liberal and/or center-left platform.
The mission of the Bartholomew County Democratic Central Committee is to grow the Democratic Party in Bartholomew County by supporting and electing smart democratic candidates and promoting the voice of ALL the people.

Hello one and all.  As a new committee, we understand that our number one responsibility to you and our community is to slate an outstanding group of candidates. Individuals who will not only demonstrate excellence in their campaigning, but excellence when elected to serve. Toward that objective, I am proud to announce that I have been elected to serve as our party’s chairman.  Our team has found candidates of whom we are proud. Candidates who will run, raise money and win. With a successful primary under our belt, the Central Committee and I look forward to the fall election.Â
